Reserved Seating and Venue Mapping

tix/SYS includes a sophisticated venue mapping facility that allows you to define any mix of general admission and reserved seating sections for any show at any venue. It allows you to define templates for section row/seat pricing and applicable discounts which can be copied to new events as needed. Section seat charts are created graphically and use colour coding that allows you to quickly identify open, assigned and held seats. Right-clicking on a seat on a chart shows all information pertaining to the order on which it is assigned or ticket-pool information if the seat is held. Seat charts too wide to fit on the screen are accommodated using standard Windows scroll bars.

Below is a partial screen-shot of a typical venue section map showing the colour legend pop-up box. Note that the layout of the section is defined by you. There is no system limit to the number of sections that can be setup for a venue and you can mix general and reserved-seating sections. Seat pricing is defined by row and/or by individual seat. This map shows a section where the pricing is defined by row.
