Ticket and Voucher Printing

tix/SYS provides complete flexibility in ticket printing; you have complete control over where and when tickets are printed. For example, you can print walk-up orders when an order is completed and phone and web orders in bulk at the end of the day. Users and terminals can be logged-in to specific Order Origins (where the order is processed) and the combination of Origin and order method of payment can specify how and when an order is printed.

You can reprint an order in its entirety or select specific tickets to reprint. All such reprint activity is logged by user and a "reason" for reprinting must be entered. Reprinted tickets have a mark printed on them indicating that they are reprinted tickets.

Tickets can also be pre-printed in bulk by the system for sales at outlets or venues with the actual sales merged into tix/SYS at a later time.

You can define any number of "vouchers" to be printed by the system. These are often used to facilitate give-aways, show cancellation refunds, or merchandise sales "tokens". For example, many events issue "exchange vouchers" from tix/SYS that the system will print on ticket stock and that can then later be exchanged for a hard ticket. Others issue merchandise vouchers that are sold on an order and exchanged for the actual merchandise elsewhere. All vouchers issued have a unique serial number and can be tracked by the system.

Section, Row and Seat data for reserved seating tickets is printed both on the stub and main portion of tickets. The Section indicator can be either the abbreviation or the complete section name.

Ticket and voucher layouts can be customized to suite specific requirements; you can specify type-fonts and sizes and the positions where specific data is printed. Supplimental information - such as patron names for comp tickets - can also be printed on tickets and you can even include event-specific sponsorship or venue address information.
