Credit-Card Authorization Server

tix/SYS can automatically authorize credit and debit card transactions and deposit funds directly into your bank account (draft capture and settlement) without a separate manual deposit. Using our advanced Credit Card Authorization Server (commonly referred to as the CC-Server), any number of networked tix/SYS workstations can share a single authorization terminal and telephone line. The server provides much shorter transaction turn-around times than conventional magnetic-swipe/manual key point-of-sale terminals. From the time of order completion a transaction can be completed in as little as 3 seconds, averaging 6 seconds. Both US and Canadian versions are available and can be used with or without magnetic-stripe card readers. If you are using our Web Ticketing Gateway, the server will also authorize all web-based transactions in real time.

The CC-Server typically runs on a dedicated low-end PC connected to the network, but for smaller transaction volumes it can be run on the network file server or even on a workstation in the background. The CC-Server is has been fully certified by Vital Processing Services (formerly VISANet) and has proven it's reliability over the years by processing over five million transactions.

The CC-Server provides a real-time display of all transactions as they are processed and can notify users if a problem occurs during processing. Since it's tightly integrated with tix/SYS, all messages returned by the authorizing agent are displayed on the tix/SYS terminal processing the transaction in addition to being displayed on the CC-Server screen.
